Here at Aero-ist we are always looking at how to improve the flying experience and flight safety. The Flight Cap has been hugely popular not just for in-flight safety, but also for walk-rounds and even Glider rigging.Whilst the traditional knee-board is great for writing down block times, QNH/QFEs and runway instructions, they can be just too big and bulky in a small cockpit. In some aircraft full ‘n’ free cannot be achieved whilst wearing a kneeboard, the only alternative being wearing a flying suit with built-in kneeboards.
Aero-ist have an answer to this problem in the new Wristboard, a small board that fits around either wrist with a wide Velcro strap. Made in Britain from military specification fabric , the Wristboard is designed to stand up to the rigours of all kinds of sport aviation.
The Wristboard has been sized as big enough to write basic en-route and aerodrome information on, (or hold an Aresti diagram) whilst being small enough not to be cumbersome and interfere with cockpit operations. It has two pen holders for either chinagraph or standard sized permanent markers.
