Aero-ist supports Event
Aero-ist is very proud to support the Burned Children's Flying Day at Bourn (EGSN) organised by Jim and Pat Dalton in conjunction with the Burned Children's Club Summer Camp at Grafham Water.
Pilots volunteered their time and aircraft (fixed and rotary wing) to give the 38 children experience of flying, many taking control themselves. For many this was their first experience of flight. There was also an army of ground helpers to escort the youngsters to and from the aircraft as well as a Chain-mail making demonstration (the kids having a go with Pipe cleaners!) and a Bus supplied by Whippet Coaches for them to try and wear the horn out on! There was also a Pitts giving an Aerobatics demonstration during lunchtime
Aero-ist gave each child a tee shirt with a choice between the 'Wes' and 'Pilot/Nav' designs.
